On Tuesday, 13th May 2025, a Fairtrade Breakfast was held at the Charles University Point, attended by employees of the Charles University Point to celebrate World Fairtrade Day together - this year for the first time directly at work!
The event took place in a pleasant atmosphere scented with quality ingredients. We tried a number of delicious fairtrade products that not only taste great, but also carry a strong story of responsible origin. For example, fairtrade cereals, jams, chocolate spreads, juices or bananas were available - ingredients that we normally buy, but in this case with the added value of a fair approach. The program also included a demonstration of various ways of preparing fairtrade coffee and tea, supplemented with interesting information about their origin and the importance of fair trade.
The Fair Breakfast was held in response to the call "Fair Breakfast at Work" announced by Fairtrade Czech Republic and Slovakia. We are happy to join in and support the idea of sustainability and fair and decent working conditions for growers around the world.
