On Tuesday, May 13, a Fairtrade Breakfast was held at CU Point to celebrate World Fairtrade Day. Employees tasted Fairtrade products and learned about the principles of fair trade. The event was held as part of the Fairtrade Breakfast at Work challenge. In this way, we supported sustainability and decent conditions for growers.

How to shape the future of sustainable student mobility without limiting international cooperation was shown at the second annual "Student Mobility Summit" in Barcelona. The complex topic was discussed by the expert community with students and university representatives.
Charles University was the only applicant from the Czech Republic to receive CZK 60 million for its Charleston project under the EU flagship programme for doctoral and post-doctoral education. The aim is to support young scientists who have already obtained a PhD and have previous international experience and whose research will focus on sustainability.
Giving Tuesday is a global day of generosity and good deeds. It has been celebrated since 2012 on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, as a contrast to the Black Friday shopping frenzy. We are announcing a university collection of food items to be donated to the Food Bank of Prague and Central Bohemia. Every good deed counts!
